Seven people died in a small plane crash in central Canada, the National Transportation Safety Board (TSB) said on Thursday, deploying on-site investigators.
The Piper PA-32 single-engine aircraft carrying a pilot and six passengers from a small airport on the outskirts of Toronto crashed in a wooded area a few kilometers from his destination , Kingston Airport, Ontario (center), according to information provided by the police.
The aircraft was registered in the United States, but the authorities did not specify whether it was a private or commercial flight. No information on the identity of the passengers has been provided.
